What's included in every plan
Discovery, Business, and Enterprise share the same core platform. The tiers differ in scale, integrations, and support, not in the depth of what 4Remote can see.
Auto device discovery
Every device on every network the team touches, across computers, networking, phones, smart home, audio, TVs, gaming, printers, security devices, and IoT.
Software scanner
Continuous visibility into active, connected devices. No agent rollout required to start.
Per-device and per-user risk scoring
A 0 to 10 score for every device and every user, with trend over time.
CVE-level vulnerability tracking
Full CVSS 3.1 breakdown, CWE classification, attack vector, and authoritative references on every CVE.
CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities
Cross-referenced against the CISA KEV catalog. The vulnerabilities attackers are actively using, surfaced first.
Blast Radius
18+ named CVE chains, including the MOVEit chain used by Clop, ProxyShell, Log4Shell, WannaCry, and PrintNightmare.
Five remediation strategies
CISA Critical First, CISA Most Affected, Worst Devices, Bad Device Owners, Worst Users. Pick the strategy that fits the team's constraints.
Ten-state Zero Trust posture
Trusted, Privileged, Standard, Restricted, Limited, Monitored, Quarantined, Suspended, Blocked, Denied. Applied to both devices and users.
Maxwell AI remediation
Plain-English, step-by-step update guidance tailored to each device and OS. Drops first-line ticket volume.

FCC Covered Devices detection
Hikvision, Huawei, and other prohibited hardware automatically identified.
Zero Trust Network Access
Identity, device posture, and contextual access. Included in every plan.
Optional add-ons
Two add-ons extend the platform when the environment needs more depth. Available with the plans listed below.
Corporate Network
VLAN-level visibility inside the corporate perimeter.
Available with Business and Enterprise
Pricing $175 per subnet / month (annual), $200 per subnet / month (monthly). Included in Enterprise quote.
Unmanaged device discovery
Shadow IT detection
VLAN-level internal network scanning
VLAN-level risk scoring
The corporate LAN gets the same depth of visibility as the home and remote networks 4Remote already covers.
Hardware Scanner
24/7 persistent monitoring, independent of device power state.
Available with All paid plans
Pricing Contact sales for hardware pricing.
Persistent on-premise sensor
Runs 24/7
Sees devices that are rarely powered on
No dependence on host devices
The hardware scanner catches the devices nobody powers on but everyone forgot about. That is where the worst risk hides.

Common questions
What's the difference between Discovery and Business?
Discovery covers up to 10 users with the full core platform: discovery, scoring, Blast Radius, Maxwell, compliance, and ZTNA. Business adds REST API, AI strategy, MCP support, external LLM access, Meraki, and integrations with Slack and Microsoft Teams. It also raises the user cap to 100 and adds phone support.
What's the difference between Business and Enterprise?
Enterprise removes the user cap, adds SIEM, SOAR, and SOC integrations, custom Zero Trust deployment, and a dedicated account manager. Pricing is tailored to the environment rather than per-seat.
Is Zero Trust really included in every plan?
Yes. ZTNA covers identity, device posture, and contextual access on Discovery, Business, and Enterprise. It is not a bolt-on, a separate license, or a higher-tier-only feature.
What's the difference between the software scanner and the hardware scanner?
The software scanner sees devices that are active and connected. The hardware scanner is a persistent on-premise sensor that runs 24/7 and sees devices regardless of their power state, including the ones nobody remembers are on the network.
When do I need the Corporate Network add-on?
When the team has its own internal corporate LAN with VLANs that need scanning at the network segment level. Most distributed and remote-first teams do not need this. Most multi-site organizations with on-premise infrastructure do.
What compliance frameworks does 4Remote evaluate against?
CMMC 2.0 Level 1 and 2, NIST SP 800-171, NIST SP 800-53 Rev 5, PCI-DSS v4.0, ISO 27001:2022, FedRAMP, CIS Controls v8, SOC 2 Type II, HIPAA, UK Cyber Essentials, UK Cyber Essentials Plus, NIS2 Directive, DORA, Australian Essential Eight (ML2), NERC CIP, and the FCC Covered List. Continuous evaluation with per-control mapping.
Can I try 4Remote before buying?
Three ways. Open the live demo environment in two minutes. Start a free trial on Discovery or Business. Or request a structured proof of value for Enterprise. See the evaluation options above.
How is yearly pricing calculated?
Yearly is exactly 15% off monthly. The yearly price displayed on this page is the per-month rate when billed annually. Pricing is in USD.
